The Yellow Specimens

An exploration into the potential for artificial hybridisation through speculative biologies of genetic sciences, exploring whether the currently fictional idea of De-extinction could become a reality.

The Yellow Specimens embody a symbiotic experience of the familiarity of the human, and the alienated nonhuman. Through use of liquid mateirals such as latex, glue, paint and plaster, I mimic the fluid nature of skin alongside elements of bright yellow synthetic plasticity.
